I have too many favorites. Sue Grafton was one of my favorite writers in my early writing days. I loved how her main character Kinsey Milhone just went about her day before trouble showed up.
Same thing with Janet Evanovich and her character Stephanie Plum. She would be enjoying a donut and her car gets blown up.
