I've been enjoying the process of serializing my novel Wrongful Accusations, but I'll be honest—it hasn't been easy.

After working on this story for several years, I assumed it would be a breeze to post a chapter or two every week. My goal was to gather feedback and refine the story, but I haven’t found many readers. The few subscribers I do have aren’t very engaged, which leaves me stuck, wondering what to do with this story.

I have a rough idea of how I want the story to end, but until I finalize it, Wrongful Accusations is on pause.

That said, I’m determined not to fall back into my “Queen of Quitting” ways. Instead, I’ll shift gears and start sharing behind-the-scenes insights for each chapter. True to my belief that everything I do should serve a purpose, this approach actually accomplishes two things:

It helps other writers analyze their own works-in-progress.
It helps me figure out the best way to finish the story.

I call that a win-win.

Every Tuesday, I’ll explain how I come up with ideas for scenes and include snippets from the chapters. My goals are to:

Engage Readers: Provide a behind-the-scenes look at my creative process to help you feel more connected to the story.
Attract Writers: Offer actionable advice and real-world examples that aspiring writers can use in their own work.

You’ll know when I’m unstuck by spotting a cute, chocolate redhead or another visual cue in the posts. Until then, if you find value in the behind-the-scenes content, I’ll keep sharing it—even as I work through the story’s ending.
